The Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes & Drums were delighted to have been invited to perform in support of The Not Forgotten, the official charity of the Ideal Home Show 2025, on Veterans' Day the 26th of March.
The first performance of the day was delivered when we helped to open the show, playing a series of melodies modern and traditional. The Show was opened by The Not Forgotten's Chief Executive Colonel (Retd) Richard Walker OBE and Mr Lawrence Lewellyn Bowen.
We delivered a lunch time performance at the main entrance to Olympia playing to the hundreds of visitors as they entered the show and rounded off the day with performances on the main stage and exhibition stands. We even got a slot on Tunisian TV!
A fabulous night was had by all at the Mayor of Test Valley Borough Council's Burns' Night Charity dinner and auction. The Event was sold out and a massive success and raised thousands of pounds for the Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Jumbulance and other small local charities.
The Wiltshire Caledonian Pipers were very busy on Burns' Night! We were playing for Burns' Night Dinners from Bradford on Avon to Ludgershall, Romsey to Penton Mewsey, Cosham to Lower Chute! We played at Charity events, MoD Mess Dinners, Private Dinners and special dinners for Veterans and pensioners. A Marvellous time was had by all.
Whether we are playing at a formal Military function, an informal ball or at a local Inn, the Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes & Drums tailor their performance to suite our client's needs - to a tee! No detail is too small, and your complete satisfaction is everything.
2025 is going to be an amazing year for the Wiltshire Caledonian Pipes & Drums. We have started the year off with some amazing performances already: New Year's Eve, Burns' Night and St Patrick's Day saw every active Piper deployed to wonderful events with equally wonderful people.
On the 26th of March we were proud to open the Ideal Home Show at Kensington Olympia in support of the Not Forgotten charity on Veterans' Day.
